2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: ‘Euphoria,’ ‘Yellowstone,’ ‘Loki’ & More Nominees

Marcell Rev/HBO/Paramount Network/Marvel Studios/Disney+

MTV revealed the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards nominees on Wednesday, May 11. And leading the pack in scripted nominations is basically everything Zendaya has been in this past year. Spider-Man: No Way Home leads the movie nominations with seven, Euphoria leads the scripted TV nominations with six, and RuPaul’s Drag Race leads the unscripted nominations with four. Plus, Hacks‘ Megan Stalter is nominated in both scripted and unscripted categories. You simply love to see it.

The MTV Movie & TV Awards: Scripted and the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted winners will now be announced in one big event, as opposed to a two-night award show as previously announced. The event will take place live from Los Angeles’ Barker Hanger on Sunday, June 5 starting at 8/7c. Voting begins today, May 11, and will be open through May 18 at 6/5c. Fans can vote across the 26 gender-neutral categories at vote.mtv.com. The award show will air on MTV internationally in 180 countries.

Six new categories join the list this year. The new scripted categories are Best Song and Here for the Hookup. The new unscripted categories are Best Reality Return, Best Music Documentary, Best Reality Romance, and Best Reality Star (brought to you by SONIC® Drive-In).

Additional details about the awards show, including hosts, presenters and more will be announced in the coming weeks. Check out the full list of MTV Movie & TV Awards nominees, scripted and unscripted, below.
