All good things come in… fives? Mike Myers is certainly keeping the details of his new Netflix series a mystery, but fans can catch a first look at The Pentaverate on Myers’ Instagram on Wednesday, March 16, at exactly 5:55 am PT.

“What if a secret society of five men has been working to influence world events for the greater good since the Black Plague of 1347? As this new series begins, one unlikely Canadian journalist finds himself in a mission to uncover the truth and just possibly save the world himself,” reads the description for the six episodes.

Creator, executive producer, and star Myers has posted several cryptic pictures to Instagram — which he just joined on March 8 — each featuring the number five in some way. “5 days. The 5th hour,” his most recent post reads.

Myers himself will play seven different characters in the upcoming limited series alongside cast members Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, Debi Mazar, Richard McCabe, Jennifer Saunders, and Lydia West.

Myers is perhaps best known for his iconic film roles in Wayne’s World, the Austin Powers and Shrek franchises. On television, he served as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1989 to 1995, returning to host in 1997 and making several guest appearances since.

John Lyons, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns will executive produce the series for Jax Media with Jason Weinberg. Director Tim Kirkby will also executive produce.

As fans prepare to go on a high-stakes adventure, just remember, “The Pentaverate must never be exposed!”
