‘Better Call Saul’: How to Stream Season 5 Before the Final Chapter Arrives

Better Call Saul‘s final season is mere weeks away from arriving on AMC, and that leaves just enough time to catch up on Season 5, which originally aired two years ago.

A refresh is in order, and thankfully there are a few options for viewing the penultimate season which has been available on AMC Networks’ streaming platform AMC+. For those who aren’t subscribed to the streamer, perhaps Netflix would be a good alternative?

Better Call Saul‘s fifth season will officially be available to stream on Netflix beginning Monday, April 4, joining the first four seasons of episodes that are already available. As longtime fans will recognize, Better Call Saul‘s race toward its final season also marks the end of the Breaking Bad era which includes the original series, its prequel spinoff Saul, and the movie El Camino which followed Jesse Pinkman’s (Aaron Paul) escape after Walter White (Bryan Cranston) set him free.

Now, Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) is quickly approaching the point in time where he crosses paths with drug kingpin Walter White and his associate Jesse Pinkman. Whether they’ll play a role in Season 6 will remain to be seen (we’ll keep our fingers crossed), but there are plenty of loose ends to tie up after Season 5’s heart-stopping cliffhangers.

So, catch up with everyone’s favorite criminal lawyer, Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn), Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando), Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian), and loose-cannon bad guy Lalo (Tony Dalton) with Season 5 before they return for more fun in the final chapter on AMC later this April.

The irony is it is NOT available on Amc + as of today 3/10/22 I signed up for it expecting to find BCS featured but none of the seasons are currently on AMC + which is ludacris! the network that aired the show and will air the final doesn’t even have it! You won’t see Breaking Bad there either. At some point it will be and same goeswith US netflix which stupidly only has 4 seasons of BCS! A little research by the author and as to why we here in the US are made to wait when other countries are able to have free access to BCS season 5

  They have a contract with Netflix for season 1-4 to be on their streaming service. It's not stupid, it's business. They were probably offered good money for the rights to stream it. As for season 5, it's common practice for AMC to show reruns of the last season (5) on TV to build the hype for season 6. It's very smart that they will release season 5 to Netflix on April 4th to give users time to rewatch the season before season 6 comes out the following week or so. If they have Netflix, they likely do not have AMC on cable. And if you are upset that AMC+ doesn't carry BCS, that is your fault for not doing a simple google search to see where to stream it. The services exchange TV /movie rights all the time.

    You're both correct...research does show that AMC+ is supposed to have season five. The question now is where CAN U WATCH season 5 between now and April 4 when Netflix has it? (meaning which streaming service...you can pay PER EPISODE on Prime video and others)

    You say we should use Google? Go google "stream Better Call Saul" and tell me what the you see at the top of the page. Also, people get the business side of decisions like this. What you read is called venting and frustration that one cannot watch a season of this show without purchasing individual episodes until it comes to Netflix.

  It is ironic. I did use Google and the first thing that pops up is an ad for "Better Call Saul" posted by AMC+ claiming you can stream it on their platform. That is stupid. Also, as stated, this article also suggests you can watch it on AMC+ as well. That's real good "inside" work there, tvinsider. Top notch work.
