All About Olympian Amber Glenn’s Sister Brooke & Their Family
Sister, sister! Amber Glenn is welcoming her sister, Brooke Glenn, onto the Dancing With the Stars ballroom floor on October 20’s Dedication Night to dance a contemporary to “Breathe Me” by Sia. They’ll dance alongside Amber’s DWTS partner, Pasha Pashkov.
Ahead of her sister’s Season 35 ballroom dance debut, Amber wrote, “Brooke, I am so excited to have you join me on this stage. Throughout every struggle, every change, and every milestone, you have been there. Thank you for being my best friend, I love you more then words can describe.” Now, she’s revealed the emotional reason why she chose to dedicate her dance to Brooke.

Who is Amber Glenn’s sister?
Amber’s sister, Brooke, is her biggest supporter. Until September 2026, Brooke worked as a Crisis Specialist in Seattle, Washington. In the past two months, she shifted her career path to become a freelance social media manager. However, she’s not just anyone’s social media manager. Per her LinkedIn, Brooke manages “social media content and digital presence for Amber Glenn during Dancing with the Stars.”

Why is Amber Glenn dedicating her dance to her sister?
Amber is dedicating her Dedication Night dance to her sister Brooke to say “thank you” for years of support. Amber told Parade, “I wouldn’t be here without my sister. I had a really, really dark, tough time about 11 years ago, and she was a guiding light that really helped me. I was really just suffering with my mental health and had to completely just, like, strip down to just surviving every single day. And she made me feel like I was not a burden to be around and just helped me realize I’m more than just an athlete. I am a human that has so much to offer the world, rather than just what I can do. And this is really just my way of saying thank you.”

Who are Amber Glenn’s parents?
Amber’s parents are Richard and Cathlene Glenn, who have been married since July 10, 1999. They welcomed Amber just a few months later on October 28, 1999. Brooke came along a couple of years later on July 13, 2001.
Amber’s parents have supported her figure skating career from the moment she first stepped on the ice at a local mall near their home in Texas.
Her dad, Richard, is a sergeant at the Plano Police Department. According to Amber, “There were a lot of sacrifices made growing up from my parents, even from my sister.” She told People, “I would say my family have been absolutely essential for me, and their sacrifices, I will never be able to repay, but they’re so supportive and so proud of me.”
