Turns out, Love Is Blind Season 11‘s most controversial Pod Squad member, Scott Shuman, not only found love in the pods, but walked away from the season engaged.
During Season 11 of Love Is Blind, six couples got engaged on camera, and five traveled to Mexico to start their soon-to-be married life together. However, since the season aired on October 14, one Season 11 star has revealed that she also got engaged in the pods, but she and her fiancé were not selected to travel to Mexico with the rest of the couples. The couple in question? Brittany Bianco and Scott Shuman. Yes, the Scott who told Sarah Williams, “You haven’t been ruined by all these men.”

Who is Scott Shuman?
Scott Shuman is a 38-year-old retired pro-baseball player and owner at Ascend Performance. While he was only shown briefly in the pods, he said quite a few questionable comments that caught viewers’ attention. When Sarah told Scott that she worked part-time as a bartender, he told her, “I have no problem with my wife working. Now, I don’t know if I want my wife bartending, having a bunch of dudes trying to hit on her all night. It’s like allowing lions just getting around, like, a freaking baby deer.” He also told Michaella Giorgio, “I’m not sold on zodiac signs. I actually think that’s satanic.”

So, what is a man who thinks zodiac signs are satanic doing on Love Is Blind? Netflix reveals, “Originally from South Georgia, Scott moved to the Northeast for love during the pandemic, which he says is the most romantic thing he’s ever done. Since that relationship ended six years ago, he hasn’t had any luck meeting Mrs. Right.” According to Scott, “The biggest struggle dating in Boston is finding a conservative woman.” As a Christian man, he’s looking for a “non-confrontational, sweet, and humble” future wife.
Who is Brittany Bianco?
While Brittany Bianco really wasn’t seen in the pods, we know that she is a 34-year-old attorney from a “huge Italian family.” Like Scott, Brittany follows Donald Trump on Instagram, but is she the conservative Bostonian woman that he’s been searching for? Netflix shared, “[Brittany] hoping to meet a guy to bring home to her parents — who must love her future spouse. A man who proves himself in the pods could soon be enjoying her go-to dishes, chicken cutlets and homemade gnocchi just like her grandma used to make.”

Scott wasn’t too keen on Sarah’s career. However, Brittany made it clear that she won’t be letting go of her job anytime soon. Netflix revealed, “As a practicing attorney, Brittany is determined to keep working when she hopefully one day becomes a mom. ‘I’m proud of my career,’ she says. ‘It’s important to be educated, have independence, and never rely on a man.'”
When did Scott and Brittany get engaged?
Scott and Brittany didn’t get engaged on camera, so we don’t know their exact relationship timeline. However, Brittany posted, “Me flying back from the pods” with a photo of an engagement ring on her Instagram Story. She added, “Wasn’t shown that much (thank u god) but yes I did in fact get engaged and did the reveal. Details to follow stay tuned people.”

That said, seeing as Brittany thanked God that her relationship wasn’t shown on camera, it sounds like she didn’t get the Love Is Blind experience she wanted.
