This season of Love Is Blind, the most pressing question in the pods is not the typical, “Can you find love sight unseen?” Instead, everyone is asking a far more pressing question: “Does Stew look more like a Kennedy or Mitt Romney?”
Scott “Stew” Stewart stepped into the pods during Season 11, instantly telling viewers his personal philosophy when it comes to the dating experiment. He shared, “We all want to present an appearance, especially across the wall. We all want to give an indication of our status and who we are.” In the Men’s Quarters, Stew focuses on the finer things, and his overall old-money vibe quickly earned him a nickname from his fellow Pod Squad members: “Kennedy.”
Embracing the nickname, when he met his fiancée, Jacqueline “Jax” Guelli, face-to-face for the first time, he wasted no time telling her, “I may have undersold myself. After Stew likened himself to a member of one of America’s most prominent political families, who are also known to have had quite a few lookers among the bunch, Jax told him, “Please. [You look] more like Mitt Romney.” Later, she elaborated, “They say, Kennedy. I think he’s more like a Mitt Romney.” Seconds later, she decided to leave the experiment without leaving Stew any contact info.

Sure, the resemblance isn’t uncanny, but Jax was definitely on to something here. Their biggest similarity comes down to their eyebrows and their sharp jawlines. While Stew may not have a jaw as defined as the 2012 Republican presidential candidate, he would definitely fit in at the Romney family reunion. Maybe he’s the new Tagg Romney!
