‘Campus Drivers’ Season 2: Everything We Know So Far
We’ve already raced through Prime Video’s new college romance series, Campus Drivers. The French drama, based on author C.S. Quill’s book Fast Lane, has an addictive premise, at least for us romance lovers. Lane (Baptiste Masseline) lets his Belrose University classmate and neighbor Lois (Carmen Kassovitz) crash on his couch when her boyfriend (Enzo Lorente) unexpectedly breaks up with her, leaving her without a place to stay.
From there, Lois and Lane, a wealthy bad boy who created a popular rideshare app with his friends, become unlikely friends and eventually something more. They hit many speed bumps along the way before they commit to being together — only to encounter the biggest one of all in the final moments of Season 1. Do Lois and Lane end up together in Campus Drivers Season 1?
Though Lois and Lane, who finally opened up about his brother’s death to Lois, get to be a couple briefly before Season 1 comes to an end, their happiness doesn’t last long. Lane’s mother takes him out of Belrose so he can study film in Los Angeles. It’s a nice thought, but Lane doesn’t want to leave Belrose. His mother gives him an ultimatum: If he doesn’t go to LA, she’ll pull strings to have Lois’ scholarship revoked.
Later, Lois arrives at Lane’s apartment and finds it being packed up by movers. Lane is nowhere to be found, and he didn’t give her a heads up. When Swooon asked Kassovitz if she thinks Lois will be able to forgive Lane, she said, “I think you have to forgive people. Forgiveness is really important, so I hope she does. I would have, but I think she will because she knows his weaknesses and what he’s dealing with, and she’s a smart girl. She’s not gonna throw him away like that. I cannot see her doing that.”

Will Campus Drivers return for Season 2?

Is there a second Campus Drivers book?
There are five books in Quill’s series, but readers know that Season 1 doesn’t end like Fast Lane does, seemingly setting up Lane and Lois to be the primary couple of a potential Season 2. In the book series, different couples are the focus of each book.
The second book, Crash Course, is about Donovan’s (Madior Fall) romance. It’s followed by Test Drive, Lewis’ (Esteban Vial) story. The fourth book, Love Machine, is set in Miami and is centered around new characters Rafael and Juliet. (In the books, Lane and the gang are based in the U.S. at Sycamore Heights University.) Finally, the Miami-set fifth book Good Luke revolves around new characters Tory and Luke.

Who would be in the Campus Drivers Season 2 cast?
Presumably, leads Kassovitz and Masseline would return to resolve Lois and Lane’s cliffhanger. It would make sense for the other Campus Drivers, Fall, Vial, and Félix Nebel (Adam) to reprise their roles as well.
When would Campus Drivers Season 2 come out?
Season 1 filming took place in the fall of 2025, and it premiered almost a year later. If the show gets picked up for an additional season quickly after its premiere, we’d probably be looking at a 2028 release date.
