Exclusive Interview
‘Black Dagger Brotherhood’ Star Sia Zami Is More Than Ready for Vishous to Find Love
What To Know
- Sia Zami returns as Vishous in Season 2 of The Black Dagger Brotherhood.
- The second season will focus on Mary and Rhage’s love story.
- Zami revealed what to expect on the Vishous front in Season 2.
Listen, it’s hard work to walk around a mansion with your 12-pack out all the time and have no one there to admire it. What’s the point of avoiding even looking at bread if no one will tell you how great you look? That’s Vishous’ (Sia Zami) plight in The Black Dagger Brotherhood Season 2, and honestly? It should be a crime.
The new season of the Passionflix series centers on Lover Eternal, the second book in J.R. Ward’s bestselling series, and will primarily focus on Mary (Audrey Hare) and Rhage (Alexander Cubis) falling in love. However, Mary’s neighbor/friend Bella (Mariah Davis) will also be making a connection with Zsadist (Andrew Biernat), and Butch (Michael Roark) still hasn’t given up on getting a chance with Marissa (Victory Van Tuyl). So ,basically everyone in Vishous’ orbit is getting loved up but him? At least that’s how it feels!
“I’m getting roasted! Yes, it sucks,” Zami lamented when questioned about Vishous’ desire for love on the Season 2 red carpet. “I wish J.R. Ward was here because I would just refer you to her. I have the same thoughts. Poor Vishous, man.”

Vishous deserves some romance, too! We just want our Brotherhood psychic to also have a chance at love. If we are to follow Ward’s series, then Vishous’ love life doesn’t get front-and-center attention until Book 5. Is he really going to be completely alone for four more seasons? That doesn’t seem fair, especially when he has to dream about each of his brothers finding their true love (it’s hard out here for a pimp — and psychic vampires).
Zami teased that Vishous does at least get to flirt in Season 2, and those scenes were “some of my favorites to shoot this season.” So Vishous isn’t completely left out in the cold. He’s also warming up to his new roommate, Butch, though they aren’t as close this season as they eventually get in Ward’s novels.
“We have a few scenes together where I feel there’s somewhat of a connection, deeper than Season 1,” the actor said. “There’s nothing crazy yet. We still aren’t dating,” he confirmed.
The “Vishous Deserves Love, Too” rally will commence at dawn.
