‘RHONY’: Who Is Hailey Glassman’s Husband? Her Lavender Marriage & More
Hailey Glassman is back in the spotlight on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York City. After previously making headlines for a romantic relationship with Jon Gosselin (more on that below), the publicist is putting her life out there on the Bravo series, which premieres with its 16th season on September 8.

Who is Hailey Glassman’s husband?
Hailey’s husband’s name is Rubin Cronig. She had previously confirmed he will not be appearing on RHONY with her. “He wasn’t willing to compromise,” she told Bravo Insider. “He didn’t want to ruin his family’s legacy.”
However, she shared some details about the man in her life, noting that he is a descendant of “the first Jewish settlers on Martha’s Vineyard” and has a “really big business” on the island. “Rubin owns a store called Vineyard Time in Martha’s Vineyard and he sells vintage Rolex and really cool watches,” Hailey said on the October 20 episode of RHONY.
Today, Hailey and her husband split their time between Martha’s Vineyard and New York City. “We go back and forth and spend the summers out there,” she explained. “I just like living on a yacht or in the water and just hanging out and smoking joints. And I’m on the board of charities and play tennis. And my work life, to be honest, has been stressful. I used to look forward to Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Thursdays and Fridays. And now, I don’t. But it’s fun.”
How did Hailey Glassman meet her husband?
Hailey met her husband when she was just 12 years old. “We were neighbors in Martha’s Vineyard, and we met at sailing camp,” she dished.
Is Hailey Glassman in a lavender marriage?
Yes, Hailey confirmed she is in a lavender marriage. In the RHONY trailer, she explained that she “sleep[s] with women intimately, as well.”

What happened between Hailey Glassman and Jon Gosselin?
In the mid-2000s, Hailey was introduced to Jon and Kate Gosselin through her plastic surgeon father, who performed Kate’s tummy tuck. After Jon and Kate split in 2009, he moved to New York City and was temporarily staying with Hailey’s parents.

During that time, he and Hailey reconnected, despite a 10-year age difference. “He was living in my house, the person I joked around with. He was sad and bored; I was home and bored,” she said in an interview with E!, per TVGuide.com.
Hailey has insisted there was no crossover between her and Kate’s relationship with Jon, although the romance began one month before Jon and Kate publicly announced they were divorcing. She said the former couple had already been separated for “months” at that point.
“I’m not some fame wh**e,” Glassman said. “I want people to know the truth. Right now I’m speaking from my heart, myself. I’m not some celebrity, I’m not some famous person. I’m just a 22-year-old girl who got caught in the middle of all this.” The relationship was over by the end of 2009.
