Actress • Writer

Birth Place: USA

With her off-kilter voice work and quirky sensibility as a writer, Tracy Grandstaff has managed to influence an entire generation of teenagers. Grandstaff made her first cultural impression as the voice of the cynical Daria Morgendorffer in Mike Judge's animated MTV series "Beavis and Butt-Head," about the idiotic doings of two teen friends. Grandstaff continued to be the voice of the blasé Daria on the virtual reality video game "Beavis and Butt-Head in Virtual Stupidity" and the TV movie "Beavis and Butt-Head Do Christmas." Following the huge success of "Beavis and Butt-Head," MTV ordered an animated spinoff series--"Daria," where Grandstaff finally got a chance to fly solo. She also did voice work on the Daria movies "Is It Fall Yet?," "Daria: Look Back in Annoyance," and "Is It College Yet?" (in which Daria contemplates life post-high school), as well as a Daria video game--"Daria's Inferno." When she wasn't fulfilling her Daria duties, Grandstaff moonlighted as a writer, with credits that include the 1999 "MTV Video Music Awards" and series work on the critically acclaimed teen drama "Taina" and "The Tom Green Show."
