Minnie Pearl has built an impressive career acting in various television specials and movies. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Bob Hope Show (10/05/70)" (1970-71), "Burt Reynolds' Late Show" (1973-74) and "Country Music Caravan" (). She also appeared in "Ann-Margret... Rhinestone Cowgirl" (1976-77) and "A Country Christmas" (1979-1980). She worked in television in her early acting career, including a part on "Hee Haw!" (1968-1995). In the eighties, Pearl devoted her time to various credits, such as "Roy Acuff -- 50 Years the King of Country Music" (NBC, 1981-82), "On Stage America," "A Tribute to Country Greatness" (PBS, 1985-86) and "The 60th Anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry" (CBS, 1985-86). She also appeared at "23rd Annual Music City News Country Awards" (1988-89). Pearl last appeared in "Hats Off to Minnie Pearl: America Honors Minnie Pearl" (1992-93).
