Michael Witney (born Whitney Michael Armstrong) was an American film and television actor.

In the beginning of his acting career, Witney starred in comedies like "Darling Lili" (1970). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies, appearing in "Doc" (1971) with Stacy Keach and "Head On" (1971).

He also appeared in the TV special "Miss Stewart, Sir" (CBS, 1971-72). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Catcher" (NBC, 1971-72). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "W" (1974) and the Tom Smothers comedy "There Goes the Bride" (1979).

Witney married the British model Twiggy in 1977. He died in 1983 at age 52.
