Josh Mankiewicz

Josh Mankiewicz is an American journalist best known as a longtime correspondent for NBC’s "Dateline NBC," where he has covered a wide range of stories since joining the show in 1995, including high-profile true crime investigations, human interest features, and breaking news.

He is recognized for his distinctive storytelling style and calm on-air presence, and he comes from a prominent media family—his father, Frank Mankiewicz, was a political advisor and NPR president, and his brother, Ben Mankiewicz, is a host on Turner Classic Movies. Josh Mankiewicz is also the grandson of screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz, co-writer of "Citizen Kane."
