Joey D. Vieira was an American actor and screenwriter who began his career as a child actor in the 1950s. He was born Joseph Douglas Vieira on April 8, 1944. Early in his career, he was billed as Donald Keeler, especially during his time on the classic TV show "Lassie," where he played the chubby, beanie-wearing farm boy character Porky Brockway.

Vieira is the nephew of actress Ruby Keeler, who was famous for her 1930s musicals. After his child acting days, Vieira appeared in a number of films and television shows over the decades, including roles in "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off," "Red Heat," "Showgirls," and "The Patriot."
