Danny Philippou

​Danny Philippou is an Australian filmmaker, actor, and YouTuber, best known for co-creating the YouTube channel "RackaRacka" with his twin brother, Michael Philippou. Born on November 13, 1992, in Adelaide, South Australia, the brothers have gained recognition for their live-action horror-comedy videos, which often feature intense action sequences and dark humor. ​

The "RackaRacka" channel, launched in 2013, quickly rose to prominence with viral videos like "Harry Potter vs Star Wars," which garnered seven million views in its first week. Their content has earned them several accolades, including the Best International YouTube Channel at the 2015 Streamy Awards and the Best Overall award at the 2014 Australian Online Video Awards. ​

In addition to their YouTube success, Danny and Michael made their feature film directorial debut with the horror movie "Talk to Me" in 2022. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2023 and received international acclaim upon its release in July 2023. Following this success, they directed "Bring Her Back," a horror film starring Sally Hawkins and Billy Barratt.
