Katey Sagal, Jamie Foxx & More Big Names in New Shows in 2021

Looking ahead to 2021, there are quite a few big names coming back to the small screen in new series.

Among them are Sons of Anarchy‘s Katey Sagal, back for ABC’s take on Erin Brockovich’s story, and The Affair‘s Joshua Jackson, who’s diving into a world covered in a hit true-crime podcast. For all of you who have missed Judge Judy Sheindlin, you’re in luck: She’s heading to a new courtroom on a streaming service.

Ewan McGregor, Halston

Last seen on TV playing brothers in the third season of FX’s Fargo, the Golden Globe winner stars as influential American fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick. The limited series Halston, from executive producer Ryan Murphy, tracks his rise and disco-era fame, as well as his battle against a corporate takeover of his brand. Spring, Netflix

The Married…With Children and Sons of Anarchy star is known for playing brassy working-class broads. In the drama Rebel, her streak continues with Annie “Rebel” Bello, a character inspired by fearless consumer and environmental advocate Erin Brockovich, who works tirelessly on behalf of her clients despite not having a law degree. Jamie Foxx, Dad, Stop Embarrassing Me

We assume Foxx’s real-life daughter Corinne approves of this comedy based on their relationship. Dad, Stop Embarrassing Me features the Oscar and Golden Globe winner playing multiple hilarious roles, and it reunites him with his In Living Color costar David Alan Grier. TBA, Netflix

The Affair alum explores his creepy side in this drama based on the hit true-crime podcast Dr. Death. Dallas neurosurgeon Dr. Duntsch (Jackson) seems to be building a flourishing practice. But as more and more of his patients end up maimed or dead, two fellow physicians (Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater) set out to stop his twisted crimes. TBA, Peacock
