This Is Us has continued to build the characters introduced at the beginning of Season 4, and while the most recent episode included a major development for Cassidy (Jennifer Morrison) and Kevin's (Justin Hartley) relationship, the next installment is focusing on a different portion of the Pearson family.
In the episode titled "The Dinner and the Date," the storyline introduced during the previous episode involving young Randall's (Lonnie Chavis) teacher coming to dinner will be explored. Meanwhile, in the present timeline, viewers will spend moments with new character Malik (Asante Blackk) and Deja (Lyric Ross).
