    I watched the Pilot. The "drama" wasn't particularly engaging and they got too much wrong. The "bad guy" is continuously called Commander but he had the stripes of a Lieutenant (not even a LT Commander) on his dress uniform. One of the more egregious issues is that the main character ran the case for the prosecution when he wasn't the lead counsel. He is a Captain and the person who was supposed to be lead is a Major (which means he is the superior officer). Even taking rank out of it, the main character was personally involved because he was close to the victim and his family which would, by itself, necessitate that the other lawyer would need to be the lead prosecutor.

    JAG lite. I think I'll pass.

    (BTW one of the things that made JAG so good was that every military detail was recognized and followed. I wonder if this one will be the same, or if it'll devolve into nothing but "hot chicks and hunky dudes in--and out of--uniform.")
