If you haven't checked out Netflix's new reality competition series The Circle, then turn back now before you're spoiled, because we're keeping you up to date with the current players' statuses and sharing a bit about them.
The series, hosted by Michelle Buteau, plays likeBig Brother meets social media, but there's a twist — none of the players actually interact in person. Secluded in separate apartments within the same building, all interaction takes place over TV screens, allowing participants the chance to present any persona they wish. Yes, there's catfishing in this game, and it's allowed.
From cash prizes to games currently in rotation on the long-running show.
Beginning with 8 players, each round of the competition sees two players ranked as the number one and number two influencers. Together, those top players select which player will be blocked, thus eliminating them from participating. Once eliminated, another player enters the game to fill the empty spot.
The goal is to gain influence and get your fellow players voting for you to stay, and with a prize of $100,000 on the line, anything can happen.
