The Middles upcoming spinoff series is taking shape.

The new project, unofficially titled Sue Sue in the City, is from the original series’ creators/executive producers Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline, and it follows Sue Heck (Eden Sher) on her post-Middle adventures.

According to the show’s logline, “the comedy will follow the twenty-something adventures of eternal optimist Sue Heck, as she leaves the small town of Orson to navigate the ups and downs of a career and young adulthood in the big city of Chicago,” where she works at a hotel.

As development continues, new additions to the cast have been made. Click through the gallery above to find out who’s joining the ABC series.
