Unlike other awards shows, the Screen Actors Guild Awards is all about the actors — the statues are awarded by the actors to their fellow Hollywood peers.
Tonight, stars from both film and television will be celebrated during the ceremony held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
Will & Grace actor Megan Mullally is hosting, Shadowhunters star Harry Shum Jr. has been dubbed the award show’s ambassador, and veteran actor/director Alan Alda has been named as the 55th recipient of the SAG Life Achievement Award.
