See Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Official Engagement Photos

After much speculation surrounding their relationship, it’s official: Prince Harry and Suits actress Meghan Markle are engaged! The Royal Family made the announcement on Monday morning via Twitter.

On Monday afternoon at The Sunken Gardens at Kensington Palace, which is dedicated to the late Princess Diana, the couple made their first official appearance.

Markle, 36, showed off her diamond ring, which Harry reportedly designed. It supposedly contains two diamonds from Princess Diana’s collection which frame a larger stone from the diamond mines in Botswana. According to the Royal announcement, Harry popped the question in early November after asking Markle’s mother for her blessing.

Kensington also announced the wedding will take place in Spring 2018.

Hopefully, this means Prince William and Duchess Kate’s children—George, Charlotte and their future sibling—will finally have some cousins very soon!
