‘Naked and Afraid: Shipwrecked’ Cast: Meet the 12 All-Stars Returning
Naked and Afraid is back with a new spinoff, Naked and Afraid: Shipwrecked, which features a cast of 12 Naked and Afraid all-stars returning to test their survival skills once again. This time, the stakes are even higher as the cast members are dropped into shark-infested waters in the middle of the night to begin their journey.
The former cast members have returned to the show under the impression that they were entering a standard 35-day group challenge at dawn, but will be surprised to learn that they’re actually inserted into the wilderness in the middle of the night and must make their way ashore from the open waters.
The 12 contestants are divided into four groups of three “on a mysterious and isolated island on the lost coast of the Philippines.” The island has a history of shipwrecks and unexplained disappearances. The contestants will have to contend with tiger and hammerhead sharks, stingrays, sea snakes, and box jellyfish.
“Far removed from civilization and with no food, no fresh water, and no clothing, the survivalists must adapt quickly, relying not only on their individual skills, but also on their ability to innovate and salvage whatever they can from the environment,” per a press release. “With each team receiving only one piece of the challenge map, they must track down the others and combine pieces to rescue themselves from the island on Day 35.”

Patrick French has survived 110 days in the Naked and Afraid franchise. He was first in Season 15, then appeared on spinoffs Naked and Afraid: Castaways and Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing.
Shawn Bretschneider
Shawn Bretschneider survived 21 days in Season 18 of Naked and Afraid.
Jarrell Banks
Jarrell Banks survived 21 days in Season 18 of Naked and Afraid.
Jamie Frizzell
Jamie Frizzell has survived 55 days total in the Naked and Afraid franchise. He was first in Season 12, then also competed on Naked and Afraid: Solo and Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing.
Dani Beauchemin
Dani Beauchemin has 114 days of survival under her belt from her appearances in Naked and Afraid Season 4, Naked and Afraid XL Season 1, Naked and Afraid Season 13, and Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing Season 2.
Darrin Reay
Darrin Reay survived 115 days total in Naked and Afraid Season 4, Naked and Afraid XL Season 2, and Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing Seasons 1 and 2.
Adam Kavanagh
Adam Kavanagh survived 61 days total in Naked and Afraid Season 12 and Naked and Afraid XL Season 10.
Anna Lis Pitter
Anna Lis Pitter survived 21 days on the Latin American version of the show.
Ally Frueh
Ally Frueh survived 21 days in Naked and Afraid Season 18.

I hope never to see Dani or Jarel on any future shows. Dani because after being on another show and sat there hoarding a knife and Jarel because his arrogant constant housewife comments. Jamie needs to grow a pair!

I love Darrin. He’s the exact example of Slow & Steady wins the race. He’s not flashy. He’s not sexy. But he’s a great competitor and always a gentleman.

If they ever have Jarrell Banks back on any of the shows I won't watch. The crew needed to step into the situation with Dani Beauchemin. Jarrelle did the same thing to another female on a previous show. Verbal abuse can be just as bad as physical. She didn't have to say anything for him to keep walking back and forth just to say more negative things to her. Calling HER princess! She was the one who went on a trek and found the resources they needed. Showed them taro root, bananas, fresh nearby water. He cut down her fishing net till she left. It was just a disgusting season. The people that let his behavior go on and on should have to volunteer at a women's abuse center.

This season we see rasism come out at it best it has reared it ugly head and it doesn't look good. The producers need to take their blinders off and address this situation because it doesn't look good, Dani behavior was nasty and then she recruited others to her negative side. Hope never to see her and her nastiness on the show ever again and I been a fan since day one. Naked and Afraid do better.

More like Jarrell has been antagonizing a woman who has repeatedly asked to be left alone. It's bizarre you see Jarrell as the victim in this scenario. The only racist thing that could be construed here would be selecting a Black man who they knew would inevitably be the tormentor. Wish Daren from season 11 had done a 21 day challenge and not just 14, he would have been a far better team member even if he had less survival skills.
