All of the ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Characters Who’ve Turned up on ‘Mayans M.C.’
Emilio Rivera
Plays: Marcus Alvarez, who is the President of the Mayans Motorcycle Club in Oakland, CA and is referred to as El Padrino aka Godfather because of his status within the club.
Katey Sagal
Plays: Gemma Teller Morrow, Jax’s mother. She’s spotted in a flashback scene visiting someone in prison.
Michael Ornstein
Plays: Chuckie, a bookkeeper for SAMCRO, now works for the Mayans. He had most of his fingers cut off by the Triads, a Chinese crime organization.
Ray McKinnon
Plays: Lincoln Potter, aka the Assistant U.S. Attorney investigating the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club for gun running in the original series. He returns with the Mayans in his sight and new plans to take down the Galindo drug cartel.
If you’re loving Kurt Sutter and Elgin James’ new Sons of Anarchy spinoff series, Mayans M.C., don’t worry about it being the Season 1 finale tonight, because the show has already been renewed for a second season.
The FX drama is the next chapter in Sutter’s deadly biker world, and having also created SoA, Sutter has a lot to draw from. To connect the two worlds even more, Mayans has featured a number of Sons characters in its freshman season.
From Jax Teller’s (Charlie Hunnam) killer mom, Gemma (Katey Sagal), to the return of SAMCRO nemesis Lincoln Potter (Ray McKinnon), fans are loving how the two shows intertwine.
