Netflix Releases First Look at ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Season 2 (VIDEO)

Netflix’s romantic docuseries Love on the Spectrum is back with the first trailer for Season 2, which premieres on September 21. The six-episode season will continue to follow a group of young adults on the autism spectrum as they look to find love in the dating world. Many of the show’s Season 1 cast will return for a second chance at romance, along with a new batch of singles.

Love on the Spectrum S2 continues to tell the stories of people on the autism spectrum as they navigate the world of dating and relationships,” reads the season synopsis. “With a few familiar faces, and some delightful new ones, this season represents an even wider range of people and personalities, showing just how diverse the autism spectrum really is.”

The trailer teases several new couples, including a date between Chloe and Mark, who appear to have connected after watching each other in Season 1. “I saw you on the show, and I was like, ‘I think I’d get along with him. He’s a really nice person,’” says Chloe.

The trailer also features a wedding, potentially that of Sharnae and Jimmy, who got engaged in the Season 1 finale. Though the couple hasn’t spoken out much about their wedding, the trailer clips match images of their venue and Sharnae’s dress.

While some singles may find their happily ever after, it won’t be so simple for others, but that doesn’t mean they won’t stop trying. New cast member Jayden sums it up perfectly, stating, “Love is the most chaotic force.”
