Funko Meets Fashion With ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ Line

Gird your loins, collectible fans! It’s Miranda Priestly’s world, and she’s claiming even more space… this time, on our shelves.

With The Devil Wears Prada 2 owning the box office and becoming the biggest female-led feature film since Barbie, the global, Gucci-adored dominance of Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt has proven to be exponentially more groundbreaking than florals in spring. And now, thanks to the pop-culture connoisseurs at Funko and their Loungefly line of must-have bags and backpacks, Prada diehards can grab the kind of accessories even Runway’s fashion editor Nigel Kipling (Stanley Tucci) would covet. Because, to paraphrase Miranda, Funko is both a visionary and a vendor.

First up are Funko’s beloved Pop! figures honoring Streep’s Priestly, Hathaway’s Andy Sachs, and Emily Blunt’s scene-stealing Emily Charlton in O.G. Prada looks (check out Em’s flip phone!). Each vinyl figure is approximately 4 in (10.2 cm) tall… or the width of the September issue of Runway back when magazines weren’t fighting for their lives. 

Then, there is the quilted tote in black polyurethane with a debossed pattern of various symbols from the film, like heels, sunglasses, and silhouettes of fan-favorite characters. There is also a coordinating interior lining. And since bag tags are all the rage, the tote comes with a mini-Runway keychain that opens up to a few iconic phrases from the film.
