Are the Days of Our Lives numbered? Cancellation buzz is building now that the entire cast has been released from their contracts ahead of an “indefinite hiatus.” The good news is that the long-running soap has enough episodes filmed to last through 2020 and that NBC is eager to keep the drama going.

Meanwhile, cast members have taken to social media to assert that the show hasn’t been canceled, and a source tells TVLine that all this contract upheaval may be a ploy for Corday Productions to get the actors back with “new contracts at a reduced rate.”

Judging by fan reactions online, though, we’d advise the production company to pay top dollar for the Days stars in the gallery above. Scroll through to see these actors and their fan-favorite characters.
