The fourth and final season of IFC’s critically-acclaimed series Brockmire starring Hank Azaria premieres Wednesday, March 18.

It’s 15 years into the dystopian future and Jim Brockmire (Azaria) is now the Commissioner. After his wife’s infidelities decades ago triggered a public meltdown so bad that “Brutal Brockmire” became a viral internet meme. The breakdown sent him on a drug-fueled tear across the globe, but the once legendary baseball announcer is now back on top and his struggles with sobriety are behind him.

The stars tease what leads to a 'really cool Black Mirror episode by the end.'

However, at this later stage of his life he is tasked with saving America’s pastime as the world around him descends into chaos, all while trying to salvage his relationship with his newfound daughter (new addition Reina Hardesty) and rekindle the love he once had for Jules (Amanda Peet).

The season begins with "Favorable Matchup," where the year is 2030 and the world is in chaos, but at least Jim is broadcasting his favorite sport and has the love of his daughter. He then learns baseball is worse off than he thought and his daughter is moving to New York for college.
