Nicole Richie is returning to farm life — and bringing the city back into Rio (Lake Bell) and Mike’s (Dax Shepard) lives in rural Nebraska — on this season of Bless This Mess.
The actress will be recurring as Sierra, Rio’s NYC BFF, and TV Insider has an exclusive first look at her first appearance.
Richie’s arc begins with the Tuesday, January 28 episode, and the spoiled Upper-East-Sider — though she’d probably tell you she’s from Brooklyn — is looking forward to hosting her wedding at the couple’s “super rustic, kind of gross” farm.
The ABC comedy received a full-season order in November. “Bless This Mess has quickly become a fan favorite, due in large part to the expert wit of co-creators Lake Bell and Elizabeth Meriwether, and our incredibly talented and charismatic cast,” Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment, said at the time. “This series exquisitely captures a witty and warm look into the close-knit communities of America’s heartland, and we are so excited to deliver more stories from ‘Bucksnort’ to the masses.”
