‘Arrow’: All the Characters Returning for the Final Season (PHOTOS)
Yao Fei (Byron Mann)
Yao Fei was killed in the first season, but he’s another blast from the past for Oliver in the eighth season.
Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana (Rila Fukushima)
Viewers last saw Katana (alive) in Season 4, and they’ll see her again in Episode 2 of the final season, “Welcome to Hong Kong.”
Roy Harper (Colton Haynes)
Roy was part of both the present and future storylines in Season 7, and he went into hiding in 2040. Though no longer a series regular, Haynes will recur in the final season.
Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman)
Judging by the above photo from “Starling City,” Malcolm is back in a slightly different capacity. The Malcolm that fans knew sacrificed himself and died offscreen in the Season 5 finale.
Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson)
Moira, who was killed in Season 2, will appear in the premiere in a familiar home, as seen in the photo above.
Thea Queen (Willa Holland)
Thea, last seen briefly in the Season 7 documentary, will recur in the final season.
Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra)
Segarra’s character killed himself at the end of Season 5, but showrunner Beth Schwartz teased that “Chase comes back in a different way than expected.” He can be seen in the Season 8 trailer.
Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell)
Tommy will be back in the premiere, as seen in the photo above, but we’ll have to wait and see just how that’s possible since he died in the Season 1 finale. Considering the other photos for the episode — and the title (“Starling City”) — it seems probable that this is the Tommy of another Earth.
Arrow fans will have to say goodbye in 10 episodes (and the other four parts of the Arrowverse crossover “Crisis on Infinite Earths”).
But before that time comes, they’ll also get to see some key characters returning in some capacity in the eighth and final season. And we already know one member of Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) team will be back in a recurring role.
