In addition to her role in the proposed spinoff, McNamara has also been cast opposite Alexander Skarsgard and Whoopi Goldberg in CBS All Access’ limited series adaptation of the Stephen King book The Stand.

The Arrowverse will have to muddle along without its namesake: Arrow aired its series finale on January 28, ending a run of eight seasons and 170 episodes. The stars of the CW superhero drama are just getting started, though, and many have already booked new projects.
