Emmys 2016: Matt Damon Calls Jimmy Kimmel a ‘Big Loser’

The Jimmy Kimmel/Matt Damon “feud” is the longest running joke in late night since Larry “Bud” Melman, and it bled into the Emmy ceremony tonight. After Jimmy Kimmel Live! lost the Variety/Talk award to Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Damon came out on stage gnawing on an apple, Good Will Hunting-style. He asked who won, and Jimmy painfully told him, and Damon celebrating, saying he had Oliver in his pool.

Then he told the audience to cheer for the “big loser,” and walked off stage talking about an afterparty that Jimmy wasn’t invited to. “Tell your mom I like them apples,” he exclaimed.
