ABC Announces Fall Premiere Dates: ‘DWTS’ Kicks Off Fall, Tuesday Comedies Debut in October

ABC released its fall premiere dates for 2016 today, and the only big surprise is that their new Tuesday block of comedies, anchored by The Middle, will not debut until October 11. Dancing With The Stars debuts its 23rd season on September 12, and it’ll have a Tuesday results show through September, airing at 8/7c. Then the vice presidential debate will air on October 4, which pushes the Tuesday block to the 11th.

Other notable premieres: Designated Survivor, starring Keifer Sutherland, bows on Wednesday, September 21, at 10/9c; Notorious slides into the TGIT block on September 22 at 9/8c; Conviction begins on Monday, October 3, at 10/9c.
