Fox Cancels Freshman Comedies ‘Grandfathered’, ‘The Grinder’ and ‘Bordertown’

The Grinder rests…in peace.

Fox has officially cancelled the Rob Lowe/Fred Savage comedy about a former television actor who returns to his Idaho hometown and joins his family law firm.

The Grinder‘s Tuesday night counterpart, Grandfathered, starring John Stamos as a suave bachelor who forms a relationship with his newly discovered son and granddaughter, will also not be returning to the schedule next season.

Fox has also cancelled the animated series Bordertown, which was executive produced by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane.
