Hasan Minhaj Goes From Daily to a Netflix Weekly

Former Daily Show correspondent and comedian Hasan Minhaj is back on TV with his weekly comedy show, Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj.

“Minhaj’s weekly comedy show will explore the modern cultural and political landscape with depth and sincerity. Each week, Minhaj will bring his unique comedic voice and storytelling skill to investigate the larger trends shaping our fragmented world,” according to a press release.

Chilling True Story

Fox announced the premiere date for its new true-crime special, Inside the Manson Cult: The Lost Tapes, about Charles Manson and his “gang of blindly loyal followers.”

The two-hour special is narrated by Ray Donovan‘s Liev Schreiber and “goes inside Spahn’s Ranch, where the Manson cult lived, to offer an intimate and terrifying look into America’s most murderous group” according to a press release.

The New Girl

ABC has found its new The View co-host!

Abby Huntsman from FOX’s Fox and Friends Weekend will be taking over for Sara Haines on the daytime talk show, after Haines left to host the third hour of Good Morning America with Michael Strahan.

Huntsman will be second conservative voice at the table. She’s joining Republican Meghan McCain, who just finished her first season. Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin are staying on board to provide the show’s left-leaning perspectives.
