Who Is Eva Marcille, New ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Cast Member?

Eva Marcille (née Pigford) was announced as a new cast member on the upcoming tenth season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. She joins the other Georgia peaches as a “friend” and is ready for all the ups and downs the hit Bravo show may bring.

She confirmed the news to Us Weekly saying, “I’m so excited to join NeNe [Leakes] and the ladies for the 10th season of RHOA. Atlanta and America, get ready!”

For all those eagle-eyed reality TV fans out there, Eva Marcille probably looks familiar and that’s because she’s no stranger to the camera.

Here are 5 things you need to know about Eva Marcille:

She’s only 32 years old, but started her career on TV. She won the third cycle of America’s Next Top Model which landed her a modeling contract with Ford Models and a campaign with CoverGirl cosmetics.

Her face has graced the cover of many top magazines including: Women’s Health, Fitness, Essence, and Elle magazine.

3.

Marcille has acted on a number of CW and UPN shows including Smallville and Everybody Hates Chris.

She’s a successful host, working on Rip the Runway on BET, and has appeared in several music videos including ones by the likes of 50 Cent, Jennifer Lopez, and Jamie Foxx.

In January 2013, Marcille started dating singer-songwriter Kevin McCall and they had a daughter together, Marley Rae McCall, born on January 31, 2014. The pair broke up in early 2015.
