Buzzr Asks Game Show Fans to Program Its Sunday Night with Retro Episodes

Buzzr, the new retro game show network, is asking fans to choose its Sunday lineup.

The network, currently available in 35% of the country, has launched the promotion “Pick & Play” (with the tagline “You Pick ‘Em, We Play ‘Em”), to let viewers vote from a list of six classic game shows from owner FremantleMedia North America’s library. The top three voted shows will make up Buzzr’s new Sunday lineup.

The list of shows, selected from fan requests made over social media to Buzzr, include:

Now You See It (1974; host: Jack Narz)

Double Dare (1976; host: Alex Trebek; left)

Trivia Trap (1984; host: Bob Eubanks)

Wordplay (1986; host: Tom Kennedy)

Beat The Clock (1979; host: Monty Hall; below left)

Beat The ClockVoters will also be eligible for a grand prize trip to Los Angeles to see Wayne Brady on FremantleMedia North America’s CBS game show Let’s Make A Deal, or a trip to Atlanta to see Steve Harvey on FremantleMedia’s syndicated game show Family Feud. Voting ends on Oct. 12, with the new lineup relvealed on Oct. 18. More information can be found at Buzzr’s website.
