Katie Couric pitching a morning news show comedy starring Michelle Pfeiffer
Couric is teaming with Murphy Brown creator Diane English on a comedy going behind-the-scenes comedy of a morning news show, with Pfeiffer playing the lead anchor. Couric is expected to serve as executive producer.

Billy Eichner got Dave to make a rare appearance outside for a Billy on the Street segment that will be shown tonight on “The Late Show” and on Funny or Die Thursday. “Letterman invented this & I’ve worshipped him since I was a kid,” tweeted Eichner, who adds: “To have him join me was a dream.”
