NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo and former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly clashed on Wednesday night (November 4) as they debated the Democrats’ sweeping blue wave victory over Republicans in the midterm elections.

O’Reilly appeared as a guest on Cuomo alongside Stephen A. Smith, during which he accused Cuomo of “demonizing” the “77 million people” who voted for Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. “I’m not demonizing them,” Cuomo shot back. “I think they were deceived by him.”

“No! You demonized them,” O’Reilly retorted.

Cuomo argued, “I think he took legitimate disaffection and desperation, and some bigots, and promised them things that he did not deliver… The way he treats women, the way he treats the press, the way he abuses institutions, the way he abuses the Constitution.”

The pair continued to shout over each other, with O’Reilly saying, “Okay, you don’t like him!”

“No, I don’t like those things, Bill. What are you, 11? I don’t like the way he behaves,” Cuomo fired back.

“You don’t like anything about him!” O’Reilly responded.

Cuomo then delivered the devastating blow, telling O’Reilly, “Bill, if you want to say he’s a great guy and a great president, you can say it. Write a book about it. I’m just saying the American people just told you to be quiet, okay?”

O’Reilly paused and seemed to be lost for words for a few seconds, then said he had “one more point” to make. “If there were no Iran war, the Republicans would have won big time,” the conservative commentator stated. “That’s the point.”

“That’s speculation,” Cuomo responded before ending the segment.

O’Reilly frequently appears on Cuomo’s show, and the pair quite often end up in heated debates. Earlier this year, the two men argued back and forth in an exchange about Iran’s nuclear capabilities and also the Trump administration’s aggressive tactics in deporting illegal immigrants.
