Ryan Seacrest Admits to Strange Habit, But Makes Fun of Cohost for Doing the Same
Even though Ryan Seacrest admitted to being a gym grunter, he couldn’t help but make fun of his radio cohost’s grunts. The Wheel of Fortune host shared details about his strange habit on air.
During the October 6 broadcast of On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Seacrest’s cohost, Tanya Rad, shared that she talked with her best friend, who talked about a man who grunted all through her Pilates class.
“Was it Ryan?” his other cohost, Sisanie, joked.
“No. I grunt at the gym,” he admitted.
Rad went on to say that everyone was giving the guy eyes like, “This guy needs to relax.” She asked her friend what was wrong with grunting at the gym? “I do it all the time,” Rad said. The radio host said her friend was shook, and that her jaw was on the floor.
“I make a looooot of noise,” Seacrest said. “I grunt from when the alarm goes off. Like the alarm goes off, and I go,” he demonstrated himself getting out of bed and grunting.

Sisanie said that he grunts in the studio, clears his throat, and “makes all types of sounds.”
“I think it’s nice. When you feel the burn, going like ahhh!” she said, her face going red after making a loud screaming noise.
“That’s your grunt?” Sisanie asked.
“Whoa whoa whoa whoa. That’s not a grunt. Go back to that,” Seacrest said. Rad made the noise again, almost like she was screaming from pushing out a baby. Seacrest said that her grunt sounded like an SOS panic sound.
“When your hamstring is burning, and then they tell you to start pulsing,” Rad explained. “Yeah, I do.”
“Let’s change that. You can grunt, but that sounds like you’re drowning,” Seacrest said.
Sisanie said that it sounds like she needs medical assistance. Seacrest said that he would already have 9-1 dialed from 911. “I’m waiting for one more grunt for the final one,” he said.
The clip was posted to the radio show’s Instagram page, and fans commented on the host’s grunting habits. ” I grunt getting out of bed too! Walking up the stairs, getting out of the car, off the couch, all the places!” one fan said.
“That is beyond grunting and quite distracting,” one said. Some fans said their grunts and Rad’s sound like Chewbacca’s, while others left laughing emojis.
Seacrest frequently posts photos and videos of his workouts, but never grunts in any of them. What is your opinion on people grunting at the gym? Let us know in the comments.
