What’s ahead in Season 54 of The Young and the Restless?
CBS also revealed some scoop about what to expect in Season 54: “This season, Victor Newman stops at nothing to protect his family, taking decisive control of the situation with Matt Clark while refusing to allow anything to threaten Nick’s sobriety. Victor presents Nikki with an intriguing business opportunity that could serve as an ulterior motive to cause havoc for his nemesis, Jack Abbott.”

And there’s more: “Phyllis finally scores a win, but her victory forces her to decide who she truly wants in her life. Victoria and Kyle go to great lengths to keep their casual affair a secret. Stephanie supports Nate as he pursues a return to medicine. Lily and Cane mix business with pleasure when they team up to fight Billy’s attempt to gain control of Chancellor Industries. With their wedding fast approaching, Billy has little time to give Sally the support she needs, and the pressure is mounting.”
Speaking of Billy and Sally’s wedding, which will air in October, executive producer Sally McDonald teased to TV Insider that these nuptials will be “the wedding of the year, and you should expect the unexpected.” Oh, and she noted that “Adam and Sally always seem to find their lives intertwined whether they like it or not.” Do with that what you will!
Meanwhile, Victoria and Kyle will continue to keep their age-gap romance a secret. “They will eventually realize their situation is much more than a casual affair and will go to great lengths to keep their situation a secret, which only adds to the attraction they feel for each other,” McDonald noted.

I’d like to see Phyllis in a strong, supportive, loving, caring relationship. She needs happiness and some stability and someone to have her back and appreciate her for who she is. I’d also like to see her character settle down with out all these highs and lows.
