Will ‘America’s Got Talent’ Return for Season 22? The Latest Updates

Season 21 of America’s Got Talent is well underway. The Auditions wrapped up during the July 21 episode, and the judges are now in the process of deciding which 44 acts will head to the Live Shows with the new Judges’ Callback Round, which begins on August 4.

But fans are already looking ahead regarding what’s to come. This year officially marked 20 years of AGT, but is there a future for the show moving forward? Below, we rounded up everything we know about a potential 22nd season. Scroll down for all the details.

Will AGT return for Season 22?

So far, there has been no official renewal, but all things seem to be a go for Season 22. The audition hub for AGT is officially open, and during the July 28 episode of Season 21, there was a call for viewers to submit their videos if they want to be considered.

While this does not been there will definitely be another installment of the show, it certainly looks promising.

When does AGT Season 22 premiere?

There is no premiere date yet, but it likely won’t be until spring 2027. Since the very first season premiered in 2006, there has been one season of AGT a year that generally premieres in late May or early June.

For reference, Season 21 debuted on June 2, while Season 20 started on May 27. The show generally runs through mid-September (the Season 21 finale date is on September 23.)

Who are the judges for AGT Season 22?

The judges won’t be confirmed until closer to the premiere date. For Seasons 20 and 21, Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell, Mel B., and Sofia Vergara served as judges.
