Joanna Gaines Shares Funny Tour of Her Attic & Admits She Has ‘a Problem’

Magnolia Network star Joanna Gaines admitted she has “a problem” as she showed off her cluttered attic in a funny house tour video.

In a July 1 Instagram Reel, Gaines took her followers inside the attic of her Waco, Texas, home. “Hi everyone, I’m Joanna Gaines. Welcome to my attic,” she said as she maneuvered around the disorganized space. “I’m very proud of my attic,” she added.

The reality star revealed that she is “shooting some rooms in the house today, which has forced me to hide and face the reality that I have a problem. But I want to show you some of my favorite things in here. A walk down memory lane.”

Gaines then showed off a selection of items stashed away in the attic, including a homemade tiered cake stand. “This is so funny. When I used to do my little shop on Bosque, you guys, this was the stuff I would sell,” she said. “I would collect all this white dinnerware and make cake plate stands. How cute was this? A big seller at Magnolia, circa 2005.”

She then moved over to the windowsill, which had become a landing place for dead bugs. “This is embarrassing,” she admitted.

Next, she pulled out a walking boot and joked, “When you have five kids, you never know when you’re going to need the boot. So not letting go of the boot.”

Gaines shares five children with her husband and co-star Chip, including daughters Emmie, 16, and Ella, 19, and sons Crew, 8, Duke, 18, and Drake, 21.

She also stumbled upon a brown wig and put it on. “So this is from my first collection of wigs. And this one was a hit,” she joked. “Actually, I have no idea why there is a wig up here, but I promise it’s not mine.”

At the end of the video, Gaines concluded, “I’m on my own today guys, and I’m feeling sick to my stomach, and I’m regretting some choices. And I’m also here to say, clean your attics, folks. It’s summertime.”

Fans jumped into the comments to share their reactions, including one Instagram user who wrote, “I’m so glad I’m not alone.”
