‘Young and the Restless’ Star Colleen Zenk Arrested for DUI a Third Time

The Young and the Restless star Colleen Zenk was recently arrested for DUI for the third time in 16 years.

On May 15, Zenk, 73, was arrested in Naples, Florida, on two misdemeanor DUI charges — including DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher and DUI causing damage to property or another person — according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office records, per the Daily Mail.

The actress smiled in a mug shot after her arrest; she was out on bond by May 16.

A witness alleged that Zenk struck another vehicle with her own vehicle while pulling out of a handicapped parking spot near a Tommy Bahama store. Allegedly, the actress continued backing up after the collision, but stopped when a witness flagged her down. Zenk allegedly stumbled out of her vehicle, later telling officers that she had consumed two glasses of wine at a restaurant, Bar Tulia.

After giving two breath samples, Zenk’s BAC levels were allegedly recorded at 0.206 and 0.192. She also agreed to field sobriety tests, but allegedly struggled to keep her balance. Following her arrest, Zenk’s vehicle was towed from the lot, and her pet dog was taken to an animal services location.

The actress pleaded not guilty to the charges through her lawyer. Her pre-trial court hearing is set for July 29, Soap Opera Digest reported.

On June 30, a representative for Zenk told People in a statement, “The charges are being defended. Ms. Zenk has not been convicted of anything. The truth will be played out in court.”

Zenk was arrested twice before for DUI-related incidents — once in May 2017 in Collier County, Florida, and another time in April 2010 in Wilton, Connecticut.

In November 2023, the actress joined Y&R as the recurring villain Aunt Jordan Howard. She made her last appearance on the CBS soap opera in January 2025. Zenk is also known for playing Barbara Ryan in As the World Turns for 32 years, from 1978 to 2010.
