‘American Idol’: All About Finalist Keyla Richardson’s Son

As Keyla Richardson fights to have her dreams come true on American Idol, she hasn’t forgotten her most important role: being a mother to her son. Keyla is in the Top 5 on Season 24 of the singing competition, and her son has been by her side every step of the way.

The little boy was there for his mom’s audition, and even sang a few notes of his own for the judges. During Hollywood Week, Carrie Underwood let him sit in her chair while Keyla performed. More recently, Drew has been in the audience at the Live Shows, singing along to every word of Keyla’s songs.
