When looking at the list of Kentucky Derby horses’ names, we realized that many of them sounded very familiar. It took us a moment to figure out why, but we did. They sounded like they could be the names of Hallmark movies.

Swooon’s latest digital cover story features Andrew Walker and Odette Annable of Kentucky Roses, a new Hallmark romance set against the backdrop of the Kentucky Derby — and airing on Derby Day. Swooon decided to put Walker and Annable to the test.
