Cheerio from across the pond! Ken Jennings decided to take a trip to London while he had some time off from filming Jeopardy!.

The game show films multiple episodes in a day, resulting in Jennings not having to film all year round. However, Jeopardy! typically stops filming in May for an end-of-season episode in July. Since Jennings is the only host of the game show, it is odd that there is a break now.

The host decided to share the random places and artifacts he stopped at during his trip across the pond. He started to post photos on March 23 when he shared a picture of a door hanger that said, “Do me later.” “I’m starting to think this is a saucy hotel,” Jennings captioned the post.

The next night, he shared a video of a fox running down a street and captioned it “Foxes of Fitzrovia.” Fitzrovia is a district in central London.

The same day Jennings encouraged Londoners to see Richard Kind in the play The Producers, which runs until May 9. He snapped a photo with the actor backstage.

The host then went to a restaurant that served Alice in Wonderland-themed food. He shared a photo of Mock Munch, which is a healthy breakfast cereal.

Jennings went to see Project Hail Mary while there. He posted a photo of the screen, which showed when the previews began and then the start and end times of the movie. “This is good cinema tech, Britain! Do any American chains have this?” he asked.

Jennings shared a selfie in a cemetery in London. He captured the flowers, statues, and graves that stood out to him. “The Victorians built seven huge private cemeteries ringing London, all of which are cool and partially overgrown today. As of this morning, I have unlocked a boring new achievement: I’ve visited all of the ‘Magnificent Seven,'” he wrote.

The host joked about the London underground, their transportation system. One of the seats had a photo of four people holding hands, but Jennings focused on the fabric, which he called “cryptic.”

During his trip, the host visited the Victoria and Albert museum, where he saw Paul Stanley and PJ Harvey’s guitars. He then went to see a performance, where he learned the name of a new instrument.

On March 31, Jennings shared a selfie outside a barber shop named Jack the Clipper, named after the notorious British serial killer, Jack the Ripper. On the same post, he stood outside a fish and chips restaurant named Jack the Chipper.

“I’m worried that Brexit will put a dent in the UK’s biggest economic sector: punny businesses named after a Victorian sex killer,” he captioned the post.

Jennings then posted a statue of a cordwainer, which is a person who makes shoes from new leather. The most recent photo that Jennings shared was on April 2. He visited a David Bowie mural in Brixton and a museum dedicated to him in Hackney.

It is not clear how long Jennings is in England for or when he will return. But, do not fear, Jeopardy! will not be affected. Fans can still see him on their TV on weeknights.
