‘Mythic Quest’ Teases Dueling Companies in Season 3 Trailer (VIDEO)
Set to premiere Friday, November 11, Mythic Quest hails from co-creators Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz, who also work together on FX‘s long-running It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The 10-episode third season of this workplace comedy will debut with the first two episodes on premiere day and drop weekly installments each Friday through January 6, 2023.
In Season 3, Mythic Quest follows a group of video game developers who are tasked with building worlds, molding heroes, and creating legends, but the toughest battles aren’t in the game, they’re happening in the office. This latest chapter picks up as Ian (McElhenney) and Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao) navigate the gaming world and their partnership at the newly formed GrimPop Studios.
Meanwhile, Dana (Imani Hakim) is forced to play the mediator to her bosses’ incessant bickering. And back at Mythic Quest, David (David Hornsby) settles into his new role as the boss where he finds himself in charge for the first time with Jo (Jessie Ennis) returning as his assistant who is more loyal than ever.
As for Carol (Naomi Ekperigin), she’s trying to figure out where she fits in after a new promotion, and at Berkeley, Rachel (Ashly Burch) struggles to balance her morals with capitalism. And then there’s Brad (Danny Pudi) who is trying to return to society as a reformed man following a rough patch.
Along with the show’s returning cast members McElhenney, Nicdao, Hornsby, Pudi, Burch, Hakim, Ennis, Ganz, and Ekperigin, Season 3 will see guest stars like Joe Manganiello, Lindsey Kraft, and Casey Sander join the fray. Mythic Quest is executive produced by McElhenney, Day, Nicdao, Hornsby, Michael Rotenberg, Nicholas Frenkel, Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik, and Gérard Guillemot.
