Stephen Merchant‘s latest series is coming to Prime Video as the streamer unveiled a first look trailer and announced a premiere date for the six-episode first season.

Following a successful series premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, viewers in the U.S. and other territories will be able to stream the show beginning Friday, April 1. The first look for U.S. viewers unveils a ragtag group of lawbreakers who are forced to work together on a community service project as part of their sentencing. Described as a comedy-thriller, The Outlaws puts these seven strangers from different walks of life to work on renovating a decrepit and abandoned community center.

During the refurbishment process, one of the team members is dragged into the dangerous world of organized crime and as a response, the team unites in ways they never expected to help each other. Along with Merchant starring as Greg, the show features a talented cast of performers including Rhianne Barreto as Rani, Gamba Cole as Christian, Christopher Walken as Frank, Eleanor Tomlinson as Lady Gabriela, Darren Boyd as John, Clare Perkins as Myrna, and Jessica Gunning as Diane.

Following the show’s BBC One debut, the show has already been picked up for a second season, making it the perfect time to catch up on Season 1. The Outlaws is a Big Talk and Four Eyes production co-produced by BBC ONe and Amazon Studios, and executive produced by Merchant, Luke Alkin, Kenton Allen, and Matthew Justice.
