Fox has made its first move to its 2016-2017 schedule.

Less than a week after the network revealed its plan for the upcoming season, Fox has opted to move Pitch (a drama about the first female player in the MLB) to fall. To accommodate the move, they’ve shifted the final season of Bones to  in 2017.

Additionally, Prison Break will now air on Tuesdays when it airs its revival in the winter.

My real question here is why FOX didn't announce this at the up fronts? Bad news FOX clearly doesn't care about sending this show out on a good note( if they did we would have been given an air date as to WHEN they are coming back.) Good news is Bones wont be leaving as soon as I thought. I get the decision I do but putting Rosewood in front of their " buzziest" new show pitch. Baseball season or not Rosewood didn't do much without Empire. FOX has never treated Bones right this is just a continuation of that.Oh and another good note Bones has their 2nd to last episode in June and their finale in JULY!!!!. Wow now that wait wont seem so long( sorry being sarcastic). Done with FOX after Bones is

You are right on all counts but obviously Pitch was getting good buzz for awhile and Thursday is going to be tough for it. Rosewood without Empire is weak, maybe not as weak as Bones but weak nonetheless. I know I should be happy that we are even getting another season of Bones but FOX treats it bad and I admittedly don't know how the up fronts really go but why have Emily go to New York to promote show and then pull this. On the Today show she really didn't talk about the rest of this season she was talking about how long Bones has been on and stuff like that. And yes the more I have thought about it the better it is for Bones to come back later. But I doubt it gets any kind of respectful promotion from FOX

So am I . I don't trust FOX to give them a proper goodbye although I know their goodbye will be WAY better than Castle's
